“Meeting of The Minds”

Sisterhood
Belize Trip 2018

Have you heard someone say “Two people in love is a beautiful connection of two minds becoming one, also known as the “Meeting of the Minds?”

I never heard this till my Summer Trip in Belize and it changed the way I view friendships, relationships, and connections between people. One simple phrase changed my world, and I knew it was the reason I was meant to travel there. I was meant to hear these words to bring life back into my heart, my soul, and my mind. Mind, body, and soul connection is everything. Here’s why:

Quick Story: When I was traveling in Belize with my sister, we met a man who approached us while we were relaxing on a dock, quietly enjoying the waves crashing over us from the Belize Sea. He lived off the streets in the town of Hopkins, Belize, with not a penny to his name, no food in his fridge, living day by day. He asked us why we came to visit, and we said “sister time and to relax.” I then asked him, “Would you ever want to come to America to find a job, live life, and start over there?” and he replied, “Why would I leave, when God has given me everything I need here. This is my Heaven on Earth.” I immediately started tearing up realizing, this man has nothing (no media, no money, no fame, nothing) and he is satisfied and sustained. He said he loved meeting us because friendships are simply the “Meeting of the Minds.” I thought this was the most beautiful and selfless way of describing a connection between two people.

I’ll never forget this dock and our conversation of simplicity filled with happiness.

Relationships and friendships are based on a connection of the minds. God created us to live a life to the fullest, so do that, TODAY!

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)

I just launched my site –also built in wordpress
like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.

In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.

Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus
    scare!
